Turn weeds and algae into diesel fuel? Ever Cat Fuels is making energy independence the new future and a better world for all. This is technology at it's finest!

A century ago, my grandparents farmed on land in a small Minnesota community called, Isanti. Today, that town is home to a $9 million pilot plant that will produce up to 4 million gallons of clean diesel fuel annually. Now there are scientists, politicians, environmentalists, investors and many others streaming into this rural area to learn about Mcgyan technology, which uses no water and generates no waste producing thousands of gallons of clean diesel fuel.

Can carbon-neutral biofuels made from waste oils, weeds, algae and sewage-treatment residue save the planet? Some clever scientists say "yes" and at least one company says, "make it so!". Check out Ever Cat Fuels and see for yourself.

That is absolutely brilliant news. Something like this affecting tens of millions of vehicles across the globe will make a huge difference to the world. Let's hope world governments take note and make the production of 'clean fuel' compulsory for the big energy companies over the next few years.

I love that the founders of Ever Cat are using only their own funds and private investors for this venture -- and being successful. Shows that, with initiative, hard work and faith -- we can LEAD our governments. Politicians are too often at the mercy of public opinion and lobbyists with deep pockets and an agenda to support big oil, coal, etc. Change happens when we stop waiting for others to lead and just get on with it!

We've waited a long time for the seeds of change to mature in the energy industry, haven't we? And now the crops are sprouting everywhere! How fun. One day fossil fuel energy will be a distant memory -- like whale oil lamps and buggy whips!

I was watching the late news last night and amazed at how much Amerca (or the world) politicians are divided betwen the choice of black oil or green oil.
The green oil is made from very fast growing algae which absobs Co2 as it grows so it is at least offsetting itself completely and more besides.

The trouble with politicians is they are too scared of damaging the worlds economy and the MONEY. MONEY MONEY in their own big fat pockets....it is all they can think about.

We have to imagine the countries who are the big oil suppliers.... what will happen when there is no more demand for the dirty black Oil? Well quite frankly they will have to create a new industry for export. And thats not a bad thing as they can take their minds of wars at the same time and work in harmony no matter what the religion is.. can't they?

I have often thought about what will happen with the voids that are being created underneath the earths crust as they pumpout all of the oil? Seems to me that the earth will just collapse in and drag whole islands with it too.

In times of great change, we always see the polarities -- and we get to choose where we want to be. Yes, there is much divisiveness in the world. And those of us who have a collaborative nature wonder why others compete, argue, war...seems counterproductive, doesn't it? Fortunately, I don't see the earth collapsing into itself anytime soon and we have many alternatives to fossil fuels springing up everywhere. I remain hopeful that our emerging green consciousness will lead us into a new level of prosperity and goodwill.

Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can. -- John Wesley, "Letters of John Wesley"

Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centres of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. -- Robert F.
