My Pledge for Change: In the Spirit of Harmony with Our Planet
I pledge to assist in educating the world in the need for drastic change in the way we live our daily lives, our values, morals and the need to be aware of the universe and it's requirements of us as human beings. To be able to live harmoniously on this planet with all and to respect all regardless of our upbringing. To filter out hate and rejection of others based upon their race, creed, color and religious or spiritual beliefs. Everyone is valuable to this world and we should respect them and not try to force our own beliefs upon anyone else or socially outcast anyone because they happen to believe differently than we ourselves. We are responsible for our own actions and should be willing to accept the consequences of those actions and therefore make changes as required. Listen to Mother Earth, she will tell you what is needed.
About Me:
Wow, that's a deep subject. I am a free loving spirit. I accept people at face value and never try to inflict my beliefs onto anyone. You either accept me for who I am, or not, the choice is yours. I do not make promises only to break them and I ask for nothing in return except your honesty.

Dear Liz,

Many thanks for posting the 10 Native Indians Rules.
Those are the values I live my life up to. I didn´t realise the origin of them.
I suppose that those are Universal.

Great knowing you!

Warm regards,
Pett

Hi Karen,
Mike says it's fine, as long as you include the copyright @ the end. As for the location, well I have not yet browsed the site throughly so when I have some time I will, but if you have a specific location in the meantime, by all means go ahead and just let me know. It can always be relocated later, without too much ado I believe.

I do believe, well you could say I know the world is full of too many who just hear with their eyes and do not listen with their ears or perhaps they just have the in and out syndrome, in one ear and right out the other. In fact, I made a pair of beaded earrings with this theme once when working for a boss who was such as AH.

Have a great day, hope to chat again soon.

Hi Liz

I like this poem very much http://www.themasons.co.za/vaccae.html

It sort of reminded me of the wonderful and strange chaos in an Alice in Wonderland scene. That was my best interpretation but I'm sure the poem has deeper meanings than that.
I think after reading almost all of them I found it the most appealing because of my daily walks here in the meadows in Chester with all the tossing and bending buttercups and the cows often running in and out of the river. It's such a peaceful and beautiful sight too!
I'm just wondering where might be the best place to add it to the network. Do you have any ideas?

I'm glad you say you have big shoulders and ears. Sometimes people do need a friend to lean on and this world is filled with far too many who do not take the time to listen anymore isn't it?

And it's only by listening that we learn to share and grow!

Thanks Karen.

I am looking forward to meeting tons and tons of people. I have big shoulders should anyone ever want to cry on them and I have even bigger ears so that I can actually LISTEN to people. That seems to be where most of us end up going wrong, we hear but don't listen. Hope all is well and that we can all have some fun and learn from one another.

Hi Liz

May I send a big warm welcome from everybody on here!
I've just been onto your site and I wanted to bring over one of Mike's poems but as they are copyright I thought I might leave that to you if ever get the chance.

I love your pledge about educating the world on kindness and equality peace.
There is so much for all of us to learn and very much to gain when we accept that we all need to think only good and kind thoughts for every living thing. Respect.... that's a word that summarizes things for me... respect for every living thing and respect for ourselves.

I do wish you every success and I know you will make lots of lovely friends on here as I'm sure you do everywhere you go.

Thank you for the wonderful comments. I am only a spirit in this earthly body, but I feel as if it is somehow my place while on this wonderful earth, to try with all my might to educate the world on kindness, fulfillment and equality peace. If we all learn to accept everyone for who they are and not try to always find faults, then the time we have to spend on this earth will be a more pleasant time and we will be able to get more accomplished. Just imagine the world as a box of Crayola Crayons. If all the crayons were the same, how boring it would be. We would all be well for use of a better tern, robots. We would have no feelings, no gender, no sex appeal, no reason to be here really, because we would all be the same and doing the same thing and feeling the same, etc, etc. We must open our hearts, minds, bodies and everything else to be educated and to educate those around us, that we all have a meaningful purpose and in order to fulfill that purpose, we must accept and be tolerant in all areas. No we do not have to agree, in fact quite the opposite, we must be willing to debate, change and conquer, but do it as it should be done, freewill, not forced.

Have a great day,
Liz

Liz,

Gosh, you're a star. I'm so inspired by your pledge that I felt almost like like debunking mine and adopting yours if I were not inhibited by your copyrights.

You must be an inspiration to be around with! I mean someone with whom people can easily and quickly connect. How did you arrive at that that? How could others like me learn from you?

I've also been looking at your blog. I think my above impression about you is only but a practical confirmation to your great attributes. I'll sign up.

Good to e-meet you here. And thanks to Karen for getting us around together this way.:)

Enjoy.

Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can. -- John Wesley, "Letters of John Wesley"

Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centres of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. -- Robert F.
