So excited at having come back from Indonesia and found some rainforest not only still there but actively thriving! The Leuser Ecosystem, the last bastion of the Sumatran Rhino (120 left, but breeding), the Sumatran Tiger (4500 left), Sumatran Elephant (800 of the 1000 left) and Orang-Utan (7,500 of the 8,000 in Sumatra, another 11,000 in Borneo but these the only ones with a decent population and thriving).

- You are so very right that the Amazon is only one of several rainforests that need protecting. And in addition to tropical rainforests, we also have rainforests in temperate climates that are threatened.
I'm hoping that everyone with information about tropical and temperate rainforest preservation work all over the world will join the RAINFORESTS UNITED group as you have done, Rex, and help us get smart about what we can do to help! I love the video you posted in the group. Thanks for your support.
