Hi,
I work with pieces of natural wood. Could I design and make something suitable for Bees to nest in that will encourage people to buy low valued wood, and thus help three species at the same time?

Maybe do some research as the ideal depth and width of bore holes for the best to keep warm inside (the wood tends to generate heat anyway).. there are so many variations for your little house. And wouldn't it be nice if you could a local garden center to stock them.
Make sure you get all your history in this wood is from managed forests etc. In fact it would be great if you could find a managed forest supplier direct wouldnt it. That gives so much more to build the product up. You can write about bees and the importance of them a bit. You have an incredible amount to go on and write about with just one product.
There is now a bee charity which you could even say you give so much towards with every tree house. Why don't you pick the brains of Phil Chandler on here he is founder of the bee charity.
